Really got a hold on me.

After we cleaned out our studios respectively, Grant and I went to Avalon where I picked up these (real?) Chanel glasses. I wanted to tint them to make them more current, but after further research, realized that it wasn't worth the $75 for a half tint. Ohhh and yesterday I nabbed an Ungaro blazer for $30, pictures of that later.
In other news, our place has no air conditioning, Serg and I are sweating it out. Only 3 days until my air condition basement in Brooklyn. Still riding my She & Him obsession, (see post title) and I've been trying to learn some of their songs. I don't think I can do Zoe Deschanel's voice justice though, she pretty much makes the songs what they are.

And with that I am off  to fetch Lydia (Mom) from the airport.

Aggy.

Agyness Deyn and Gabriel Aubry for Uniqlo. Word is Jil Sander is the company's new creative consultant. New favorite store?

Tuesday.

May is always our apartment's makeover month, and I'm slowly painting our foyer. I've been in love with this orangey-red color lately, the paint is called "Scarlet Sun".

Heading to work, wearing a vintage dress and belt, Forever21 slingback heels.

Zenith.

Yesterday my roommate Sergi and I went to brunch at the Zenith, an antiques store and vegetarian restaurant. Their brunch is awesome, $10 for all you can eat vegan and vegetarian buffet. We love their cakes, all vegan, and so so good.

They have an incredible amount of vintage there. Check out the priests' robes hanging from the ceiling.

Serg found this great National Enquirer from 1983. Amazing.

"Best and Worst Dressed Stars at the Oscars". Bette Midler!

I would've taken pictures of our food, but we inhaled everything. So good.

Consider this the first.

My remote for my D80 came in this morning. It's pretty great, but I'll be working out some autofocus issues. The weather is beautiful today, so I shot these out on the roof.

I leave for New York in a week from Wednesday. I'm more excited than nervous, but yeah, still nervous. I still have no idea what to wear to work for a company with a 3 page dress code policy, in the middle of summer in NYC. I think I started this blog (er, tumblr?) to document the summer, the internship, and the beginnings of will become my senior project. Or to be honest, because I read so many fashion and personal style blogs, I figure, why not. Let's hope I don't turn into a bloggy dbag.
