After rethinking some things...
Originally I was inspired by anatomy. The symmetry, the softness of muscle and shapes of nerves, whatnot. But I kept finding that my drawings were just too soft, too much drape going on.

I've stepped back from that idea now. I'm thinking more of a contrast between "innards" and "outters", exoskeleton and soft insides. Dylan (my professor) suggested taking it out further, maybe how we present ourselves outwardly in contrast to who we are inside. I don't want to define this inspiration aspect too much, I don't want my designs to be limited by too detailed of a design statement.
