Sleeeeep.

Things have been fast paced, to say the least. Photoshoot with Emily is on Sunday. I would elaborate more, but I have not had more than 5 hours of sleep per night, for over a week. So I'll be brief, here is what has progressed so far:

Knitted shrug.

Final drapes .

Under structure and lining.

Dylan Jacket mock up. (Kinda looks like a fortune cookie, right?)

Finished Dylan Jacket.

Coolest fabric ever.

NOW I AM GOING TO BED.

First mock up.

I finished my first mock up on Wednesday. I'll scan the original sketch soon, along with the mostly finalized 'collection'. I don't like calling it a collection, it sounds more pretentious than it is. Body of work? System? Meh.
The uh... grouping of clothes, is just about resolved, in terms of design. My ticket to New York is booked for October, after which I'll then be able to paint my finishes and render them from the fabric I'll be using.

This dress is definitely a cocktail look, which I honestly wasn't going for originally. But it's still cute, I'm excited to see what fabrics to make it out of. The back will have a large exposed zipper down the strap. I'll be able to fit this mock up on a person once I scavenge some closures from the costume shop. It's hard to tell in these pictures, but the center front panel transitions from fitted to a drape, kinda cool I think.
