Still here.

5 weeks left of college, and it's crazy. I just started a new internship, as a stylist and photo intern, which is pretty exciting. And as a independent study project, I've decided to continue working on beyla. I don't really have a long term vision for where it'll all go, but I do know that I have to keep drawing, keep building. By the end of the semester I'll have final looks rendered, and hopefully I'll have a full time job by the end of the summer, and some kind of income to fund a second season of beyla.

The last collection felt very springy, so I'm going to try more fall pieces for this round. Also, last time, no strong prints, and after the neutrals I'm ready for some strong colors, and maybe some shiny and sparkly things (within in reason, of course). I'd like to challenge myself with mixing patterns. So we'll see where it goes.

Ahhhhhh!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Last night was amazing. Thank you all so much for coming out to support me. It was such an amazing experience and such a rush. Thank you thank you thank you. I'll have a more in depth post on the show once I have all the photos of the show. Amazing though. Really. I'll miss all the late night practices, my models... It was so great.

Thank youuuuu. <3

lookbook issuu

Victor told me about this website, Issuu, where you can upload files so that they can be viewed as digital magazine or books. I tried it with the beyla lookbook, and since I haven't actually posted the finished product on the blog, here it issss. Let me know if Issuu's viewing gives you any... uh .. issues.

finishes.

final beyla renderings! (click for larger view)

Winter break has been really nice. I've been getting a lot of sleep. I wanted to render my beyla sketches, so that I had some nice, finished drawings of the looks for my portfolio.
